An Austrian ultralight aircraft may do the tour of the world with 8 litres of fuel
Linz, Austria - It obtained the environmental award "Energy Globe"
The ultralight aircraft has been designed and assembled by Zurich Federal polytechnic’s technicians and it won the Austrian environmental award "Energy Globe". The airplane is equipped with two engines which turn hydrogen into electric power and only water clears out from the exhaust pipe. Its fuel consumption are so much low that it may do the tour of the world with 8 litres of fuel only.
