Lufthansa now owns Eurowings capital stock

Brussels, Belgium - The German carrier communicated it to European Commission

Firstly, Lufthansa’s CEO, Wolfgang Mayrhuber had stated not to be interested in acquiring the fully control of Eurowings: previously Lufthansa held 49% of Eurowings. But Lufthansa communicated to European Commission last November 4 (and it was unveiled only at the end of last week) it has acquired Eurowings whole capital stock.
