NORTHWEST AIRLINES IN TALKS WITH BOMBARDIER TO BUY CANADAIR REGIONAL JETS

MONTREAL, CANADA, Northwest Airlines has begun talks with Bombardier on a $1,5 billion order for 75 Canadair Regional Jets, the Journal de Montreal reported today. The newspaper added that the airline has asked also Embraer to prepare an offer on its regional jets. Bombardier declined any comment.
