IATA: the new "IATA e-freight" programme has been launched
Rome, Italy - World airlines organization Director General Giovanni Bisignani revealed it
IATA launched recently the new ’IATA e-freight’ programme which is part and parcel of the Simplifying the Business measure of the organization. Such a programme aims to remove paper material for cargo activities by 2010. It will favour saving up to USD 1.2bn per year and lower expeditionary operations time (-25%). It was unveiled by Director General Giovanni Bisignani.
