Ryanair cancelled flights at Charleroi due to an airport workers' strike

Brussels, Belgium - Unions against raising of the the age for retirement

Flight operations at the Charleroi Airport, southern Belgium, were suspended today and the Irish low-cost carrier Ryanair, which has its European base here, has been forced to cancel a great part of its flights. Airport employees as well as the other Belgian workers, have called today a 24 hour-national strike, proclaimed by the General Federation of Belgian Workers such as it occurred last October...
