On September 3 1992, the Italian G-222 "Lyra 34" plane engaged in Bosnia to airlift food and health equipments for the United Nations, was downed by two surface-to-air missiles "SA9" while was en route from Zagabria to Sarajevo; 4 Italian soldiers were killed: Maj.
