"Idex 2025" (2). Embraer participates at the event

The company promotes two aircraft, C-390 and A-29

Embraer promotes its portfolio of defense aircraft and solutions at "IDEX 2025" (February 17-21 in Abu Dhabi, UAE), including the C-390 Millennium multi-mission military transport airplane and the A-29 Super Tucano light attack, reconnaissance, and advanced training plane.

The C-390 Millennium can perform a wide range of missions, including air logistics support, aerial surveillance, vehicles, cargo and troop transportation and airdrop, medical evacuation, search and rescue, firefighting, and humanitarian missions. It can operate in hot and harsh conditions from temporary or unpaved runways, including packed earth, soil, coral, and gravel. The aircraft, when configured with air-to-air refueling equipment can conduct aerial refueling both as a tanker and a receiver.

The current global fleet of C-390 Millennium aircraft has accumulated more than 16,000 flight hours.

Recently, Sweden and Slovakia selected it as their new tactical transport aircraft. To date, the C-390 has been contracted by South Korea, the Netherlands, Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Portugal, Brazil, and an undisclosed customer.

In the field of light and versatile military aircraft, able to operate in the most demanding conditions, the A-29 Super Tucano is a multi-mission aircraft, equipped with a state-of-the-art weapon system. It provides great versatility for armed reconnaissance, border surveillance, close air support, light attack, and advanced training missions on a single platform, which exponentially increases the aircraft's availability and operational flexibility. Its robust airframe is capable of operating from unpaved runways in harsh environments.

The A-29 Super Tucano has received over 290 orders and recorded more than 580,000 flight hours, with 60,000 of those in combat. In 2024, Embraer announced new sales of the Super Tucano to the Portuguese AirForce (A-29N), the Uruguayan Air Force, the Paraguayan Air Force and two undisclosed customers.
