Elt Group signs MoU with Sami-Aec

Reaffirming its role as a strategic partner in Saudi industry

As part of the Italy-Saudi Arabia institutional round table, in the presence of the President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni and the Saudi Minister of Investment HE Khalid A. Al Falih, ELT Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SAMI Advanced Electronics Company (SAMI-AEC), a subsidiary of Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI) and a prominent player in the Saudi defense ecosystem.

This MoU builds upon the agreement signed at the Cernobbio Forum last September between ELT Group, the Ministry of Investment of Saudi Arabia (MISA), and the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI). By aligning its activities with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 objectives, ELT Group aims to explore collaboration opportunities in the aerospace and defense sectors, contributing to the localization of advanced technologies.

Having established a trusted presence in Saudi Arabia, ELT Group is now advancing its efforts to an industrial scale through this partnership with SAMI-AEC. With over 70 years of expertise in electromagnetic spectrum management and the development of advanced electronic defense systems across all domains, ELT Group is set to forge a strategic partnership with SAMI-AEC. This collaboration will enable the realization of current and future projects while strengthening Saudi Arabia’s defense capabilities.

ELT Group’s long-standing relationship with Saudi Arabia is further highlighted by the establishment of Elettronica for Industry Saudi Arabia LLC, a Saudi-law entity focused on localizing logistical support and expanding the defense value chain.

This agreement reaffirms ELT Group’s commitment to supporting the Kingdom’s defense industry, fostering innovation, and driving industrial localization while contributing to the realization of Saudi Arabia’s strategic objectives.
