Pilots, flight attendants, ground staff, technicians and administrative staff throughout the Group
The Lufthansa Group has set itself the goal of recruiting around 10,000 people for employment in various areas by 2025. This means over 2,000 flight attendants, more than 1,400 ground staff and around 1,300 technical experts across the Group. In total, around 1,200 administrative employees are being sought across the Group, as well as around 800 pilots. More than half of all recruitment will take place in Germany.
Over 2,000 people will start working at Lufthansa Technik. The subsidiaries Austrian Airlines and Eurowings are looking for around 700 employees each. Lufthansa Airlines will continue to focus on the Turnaround efficiency program this year, although it plans to hire fewer employees than in 2024. The current plan is to find around 1,200 people in the next twelve months, focusing on operations.
Over the past three years, the Lufthansa Group has hired more than 30,000 new employees. It currently employs more than 100,000 people in over 90 countries. Further info at lufthansagroup.careers.
