TUI leases 14 B-737/8 aircraft

From BOC Aviation. Delivery expected between 2025 and 2026

BOC Aviation today announced that it has entered into a leasing transaction involving 14 B-737/8 aircraft with TUI Airways. Steven Townend, CEO and Managing Director of the company commented: "With the aircraft scheduled for delivery over the next two years, this transaction will contribute to our investment and revenue pipeline".

TUI, the press release underlined it, is among the most active tourism groups in the world. The broad portfolio brought together under the umbrella of the Group consists of strong tour operators, 1600 travel agencies and on-line portals, five airlines with around 150 aircraft, over 400 hotels, 15 cruise ships and many incoming agencies in all major tourist destinations worldwide. It covers the entire tourism value chain under a single roof. The shares of the TUI Group are listed in the FTSE 250 index, on the Quotation Board of the Open Market of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and on the Regulated Market of the Hannover Stock Exchange.

Boc Aviation is one of the world's main aircraft operating leasing companies with a fleet of 693 owned, operated and on order airplanes. Its owned and operated fleet has been leased to 93 airlines in 48 countries and regions worldwide (as of September 30, 2024). The company is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and is headquartered in Singapore with offices in Dublin, London, New York and Tianjin.
