Cirrus SR: Canadian Certification Green Light for G7 and G2+ Vision Jet Series

Tcca Approval strengthens Us Industry Presence in Region -VIDEO

The Cirrus SR, G7 Series and G2+ Vision Jets have successfully achieved Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) certification. The documentation confirms that Cirrus aircraft meet the rigorous regulatory standards set by Transport Canada for aviation safety, performance and operational requirements. "This certification allows Canadian Cirrus aircraft owners to take delivery of their new Canadian-registered aircraft, further strengthening our presence in the region", said Zean Nielsen, CEO of the American manufacturer.

The G7 series now incorporates an advanced and intuitive flight deck with Garmin Perspective Touch+ avionics, including two 14-inch high-resolution displays, touch controllers and new safety systems. The cockpit “simplifies operations but also significantly reduces pilot workload while improving situational awareness for both pilots and passengers", according to a press release.

G2+ Vision

The G2+ Vision Jet features optimized engine performance to expand mission capabilities, and in-flight Wi-Fi. Improved takeoff performance allows the aircraft to access 40 percent more airports, and enables takeoffs in extreme conditions such as high temperatures or from high-altitude runways. The single-engine aircraft incorporates a suite of technologies including Autothrottle, Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS), Safe Return Emergency Autoland and Perspective Touch+ by Garmin flight deck. Additionally, the Vision Jet can use Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).

Cirrus, the note continues, has delivered more than 10,000 SR Series aircraft and nearly 600 Vision Jets globally.
