A bad Friday for passengers around the world. Today numerous airports have suspended departing and arriving flight due to a technical failure affecting the IT network. Disruptions have been reported in Europe, Australia and the United States but other continents could be affected by the problem. Meanwhile, the Spanish airport manager Aeropuertos Españoles y Navegación Aérea (Aena) spreads the alarm.

"Due to a malfunction in the IT system, changes are occurring in the Aena systems and in the airports of the network in Spain which could cause delays.
