Italy. Reggio Airport: seven new flights from October
Cannizzaro (FI): "You understand the Region's potential and the seriousness of the ruling class"
The relaunch of the "Tito Minniti" Italian airport in Reggio Calabria depends on the investments that some air carriers are making, in particular the low-cost airlines. It was recently underlined by the Calabrian political class, which believed in this project and led the Ryanair company to announce an increase in flights to and from the stopover with seven new connections.
The airline "has decided to invest in Calabria in an impressive manner, because in addition to understanding the potential of our Region, it has grasped the seriousness and credibility of a renewed ruling class, and embraced our Calabria project", was the comment of the Italian parliamentarian Francesco Cannizzaro (FI).
From October 2024 the Reggio Emilia "Tito Minniti" airport will be connected by numerous international (London, Paris, Frankfurt, Brussels, Katowice, Berlin, Marseille and Barcelona) and domestic flights (Bologna, Venice, Turin, Milan-Malpensa and Pisa , Rome, Milan-Linate). A situation that was unimaginable just a few years ago, when the airport was on the brink of closure.
