Jens Fehlinger new CEO of Swiss

He will lead the Swiss national airline from next October 1st

The new CEO of the Swiss national carrier Swiss International Air Lines has been appointed: Jens Fehlinger. The manager will lead the company controlled by the Lufthansa Group starting from October 1st, 2024. He will replace Dieter Vranckx, who will assume the position of member of the executive board of the German Aviation Group starting from July 1st, 2024.

Fehlinger, 43 years old, began his career in 2006 at Lufthansa, where he held various management positions: from head of strategy and business development for Lufthansa Airlines, to head of operational performance management for the Lufthansa Group. During the pandemic he directed the crisis management office. In recent years he was CEO of the airlines Lufthansa Cityline and Lufthansa City Airlines.
