Lufthansa appoints new Chief Financial Officer
Till Streichert will take up his role from mid-September 2024
The Lufthansa Group has appointed Till Streichert as the airline's new Chief Financia Officer. The manager will take up his role starting from 15 September 2024 and will have a mandate lasting three years. He will sit on the bench of Remco Steenbergen, who will leave the position at the end of May. It is a move that is part of a broader management restructuring strategy of the Group.
"With his extensive expertise and experience, Streichert will be an excellent addition to our executive committee. His arrival in September will complete the re-composition of our top management team. He will assume substantial responsibility within our company in what remain challenging times", said Carsten Spohr, CEO of Deutsche Lufthansa.
Streichert previously held management roles at telecommunications companies Vodafone Romania, Deutsche Telekom, T-Mobile UK and Vodacom South Africa, as well as management consultancy Boston Consulting. He is currently financial director of the Spanish group Amadeus, which operates in the Information Technology sector.
