An AW-119 MkII Koala helicopter crashed yesterday afternoon (local time) in Skeena Mountains, North of Terrace, British Columbia, Canada. The aircraft belonged to the operator Skyline Helicopters Ltd opf North. The rotary-wing aircraft (registration C-GSLB, MSN 14726) was carrying seven people on board, three of whom died, the remaining four were injured, while the aircraft was destroyed.

Among the victims, three Italians of South Tyrolean origin. The causes of the accident still remain unclear.
