Axiom 3 space mission ongoing

The Axiom (Ax-3) space mission has begun. After a day of waiting, for the 24-hour postponement, the Falcon 9 rocket with the Crew Dragon spacecraft from the Space in the United States. The docking of the capsule to the International Space Station (ISS), where it will remain for 14 days, is scheduled for 11:15am Italian time on Saturday 20 January.
On board are the Italian pilot Walter Villadei, colonel of the Italian Air Force; the Swedish Marcus Wandt of the European Space Agency; the first Turkish astronaut Alper Gezeravci; in command Michael Lopez-Alegria, ex-Nasa now in Axiom Space. During their 14-day stay on the international orbiting station, the astronauts will carry out a dozen innovative experiments, coordinated by the Air Force (AMI) and the Italian Space Agency (ASI), in collaboration with universities, research bodies and companies in the Bel Paese.
