THIS WEEK CELEBRATIONS FOR AMY JOHNSON
LONDON, Will be celebrated this week the 70th annyversary of the historic flight of Amy johnson, the first woman to fly solo from Britain to Australia in 1930. Commemorations will take place in Croydon, the place from which she took off. Amy Johnson had only 100 hours flying when she decided to try to get in the history of aviation. It took 19 days to reach Australia.
