Air France-KLM communicates estimates for 2026-2028
The data sent the stock soaring this morning
Aviation group Air France-KLM has released its financial forecasts for the period 2026-28. The company estimates a recovery in operating margin, with an improvement in economic results that will reach 2 billion euros over the next five years. Up to 3.5 billion euros on the table to renew the fleet. The announcement, made on the occasion of today's "Investor Day" event in Paris, caused the shares to jump +8% this morning.
"We are now well positioned to further accelerate and exploit the full potential of our Group's assets to deliver sustained and more profitable growth", said Franco-Dutch Group CEO Ben Smith.
The company said its operating margin will reach 8% in 2026-2028. A performance that marks an increase of 7-8% compared to the forecast target for the 2024-26 period. A trend that will be driven by cost reduction and improved cash flow, thanks to the excellent results achieved in recent quarters in the wake of the robust travel demand recorded in the post-pandemic period.
