Romania prepares for training Ukrainian pilots on Lockheed Martin F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft. To this end, the government is building the necessary infrastructure to welcome Kiev's military. The coalition of allied countries in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) had given the green light in recent months to Bucharest to be one of the training sites.

"A pilot training center is being formed in Romania. In order for it to be trained, it is necessary to provide a base, equip it with flight simulators and combat training aircraft with F-16s. The partners are consistent and provide this country these means and all the necessary infrastructure", explained the spokesman of the Ukrainian Air Force, Yuriy Ignat.
