President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has arrived in the United States. Tomorrow, Wednesday 20 September, the debate dedicated to Ukraine is scheduled at the United Nations Security Council. The meeting with American President Joe Biden is scheduled for Thursday 21 September at the White House, in Washington. The head of State in Kiev will also meet political and military leaders, American businesses, journalists and members of the Ukrainian community.

"I will participate in the meetings of the General Assembly, the SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) summit and the United Nations Security Council, as well as in a series of important bilateral talks. Ukraine will present a concrete proposal to the member states of the UN on how to strengthen the principle of territorial integrity and improve the capacity of the United Nations to counter and stop aggression", writes Zelensky on social networks.

The Biden-Zelensky meeting will focus on the progress of the Ukrainian military counteroffensive against Moscow, which began in June 2023, but which is not proceeding at the desired pace. It was announced by the coordinator of the White House National Security Council for strategic communications, John Kirby. Meanwhile, Zelensky today visited some wounded Ukrainian soldiers being treated at the American University Hospital on Staten Island.
