The Chinese company Wanjiang Financial Leasing, specialized in the provision of financial services and rental of aircraft, ships and work vehicles, has signed a letter of intent to start a strategic cooperation with the European helicopter manufacturer Airbus Helicopters. The agreement was signed on the occasion of the sixth edition of the "China Helicopter Exposition" (14-17 September 2023), currently taking place in Tianjin, in northern China.

The two companies are committed to providing customized helicopter components and financial solutions to Chinese corporate customers operating in the general aviation sector, each in its own field. Beijing's objective is to enhance Chinese micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in particular. There are currently more than 300 Airbus helicopters flying in China, serving over 90 customers. For its part, Wanjiang Financial Leasing has placed 200 aircraft on the market, including 55 helicopters, of which 25 are from the European group.
