Ukrainian conflict: Kiev's drones worry Moscow
London Intelligence: "Russian air defense is having difficulty detecting Kiev attacks"
The intelligence service of the British Ministry of Defense announced that the Russian air defense is having difficulties in detecting and destroying the Ukrainian military drones which, especially in this last period, have hit strategic targets in Moscow, including various airports, and others on the Russian territory.
"Russia is likely to be rethinking its air defense position in the area between Ukraine and Moscow to better deal with these attacks. It is likely to consider adding more defense systems to the air bases it considers a risk of drone attacks from Kiev", on reads in a report published today on social network X.
The announcement comes a few days after the successful attacks by Ukrainian forces against the Russian bases of Soltsy and Pskov, which according to various media damaged several military transport planes parked in the airport grounds. In recent weeks, the number of drones reaching Russia increased, violating the airspace and thus partially evading Soviet air defense systems.
