Australia-US summit on armed forces

This is what was decided in the Ausmin

The US military has expanded military bases in northern Australia to accommodate more US military aircraft. It is the outcome of talks between the two countries that have produced agreements for a new expansion of American forces in the Indo-Pacific continent, with amphibious troops and reconnaissance aircraft. Also, Canberra will produce missiles for Washington.

This is what was decided in the Australia-United States Ministerial Consultations (AUSMIN) summit, a series of annual talks that embrace the defense and diplomatic sectors that ended in Brisbane these days. It was attended, among others, by US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, with Foreign Ministers Penny Wong and Defense Ministers Richard Marles from Australia.

The American intelligence analysts will be integrated in Canberra with the defense intelligence agency ASIO (Australia Defense Intelligence Center Organization) in a Combined Intelligence Centre, to conduct intelligence analyzes on "issues of shared strategic interest in the Indo-Pacific".
