Rome airports: welcoming departure of "WYD" pilgrims
Set up at T1 travelled in the check-in areas and in the transit zone
The management company Aeroporti di Roma (AdR) has set up welcome and information paths for pilgrims both in the check-in area and in the transit area at Terminal 1. In detail, a totem has been installed with the prayer dedicated to World of youth and two boards with the "WYD" logo and the colors of the Portuguese flag, equipped with portholes in which to insert one's face to take photographs before boarding.
The groups will fly to the Portuguese city of Fatima before arriving in the capital Lisbon for the meeting with Pope Francis. In addition, 25 coaches with about 1400 boys and girls, including young people from the dioceses of Civitavecchia, Porto and Santa Rufina, accompanied by eight bishops from Lazio, will embark from the port of Civitavecchia this evening, at 10:30 pm, to arrive at 6:00 pm tomorrow in Barcelona.
