Saturday of setbacks for air transport in Italy. Tomorrow, on 15 July, airport ground staff will down tools from 10:00am to 6:00pm. According to an estimate by the "ItaliaRimborso" association, over 270,000 travellers could suffer a disruption due to delayed or cancelled flights. 

During the airport strike on Saturday, the pilots of the airline Malta Air (which operates the low-cost Ryanair connections) will also down tools from 12:00 to 4:00pm, while the pilots and flight attendants of the Spanish company Vueling will mobilize from 10:00am to 6:00pm. 

The national air carrier ITA Airways communicated that 133 domestic and international flights were cancelled. Meanwhile, the Italian Civil Aviation Authority (ENAC) has released the list of guaranteed flights to and from Italy: State, military, emergency, medical, humanitarian and rescue air connections; also insure flights in the guarantee ranges.
