ITA Airways participates in the "Business Travel Show Europe"

The event today and tomorrow in London

ITA Airways returns to the "Business Travel Show Europe" held on 28th and 29th June in the ExCeL exhibition centre in London, United Kingdom.

During the show, the Italian flagship carrier is present in the Airline Pavilion (stand J84) with a branded area: here ITA Airways team welcomes trade and corporate customers, travel agencies and companies alongside the key players in business travel who gather once a year in the British capital to discuss industry news and the latest technological innovations, meet the widest range of suppliers and develop their travel programs to satisfy the ever-changing needs of business and travellers.

The UK is one of the most strategic markets for the carrier in Europe, which offers direct daily roundtrip flights from London to Rome-Fiumicino and Milan-Linate airports. For British customers and the Italian community, connections are available with the ITA Airways network in Italy, Europe and the rest of the world, including the destinations operated in North America (New York, Los Angeles, Boston, Miami, Washington and San Francisco), those in South America (Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo), and in the Asia Pacific (New Delhi) as well as the main summer seasonal destinations, such as the Balearic Islands (Ibiza, Majorca and Menorca) and other locations in the Mediterranean.

Thanks to code-share agreements with the major international carriers, ITA Airways continues to grow its network via partnerships with other global carriers - giving a privileged access route to the markets of great interest for the Company.

Code-share agreements enable ITA Airways to reach the domestic network of other international carriers with direct flights from Rome Fiumicino and Milan Linate to their hubs. In all, 31 codeshare agreements are on sale so far, covering over 350 destinations served on which ITA Airways will use its own codes.

2023 is a year of major investments for the Italian flagship airline, which doubles its long-haul offer thanks to the opening of new routes to the United States with flights from Rome-Fiumicino to Washington (since 2 June) and San Francisco (starting 1 July) in the Summer season, to South America with a direct connection from Rome-Fiumicino to Rio de Janeiro in the coming Winter season and with an increase in the offer on all destinations already operated.

Its expansion on the long haul represents one of the main pillars of the flag carrier's strategy, as it not only generates profitability but also increases short haul, helping to double the capacity of the intercontinental network.

One of the main themes of ITA Airways’ attendance is its commitment to sustainability. In fact, sustainability has been one of its strategic pillars since day one. Crucial to the company's Sustainability Plan is the renewal of its fleet: by the end of the 2023-2027 Plan, around 90 per cent of the fleet will consist of new generation aircraft, consuming 25% less fuel and reducing CO2 emissions.

All its flights are on sale on the ita-airways.com website, from the airline's Call Center, or from travel agencies and airport ticket offices.
