Passenger demand for air travel in the Summer 2023 season will reach an all-time high. The US aviation sector says it is ready for a record summer. However, experts fear that things could go wrong and the system could collapse. So much so that the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and some airlines are trying to avoid cancellations and delays in view of the summer high season.

"We expect the summer travel season to be off the charts when it comes to demand. This is great for the travel industry, but there is no doubt that, as a country, we have invested too little in the aviation system for so much. time. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has already estimated that summer passenger volumes will exceed pre-pandemic levels. The Department of Transportation has already seen complaints increase in the first months of 2023.
