France will send missiles and ammunition to Kiev, offering training to aircraft pilots. The goal of Paris is to increase the resistance capabilities of the Ukrainian armed forces in the near future, explained the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, during an interview given yesterday to the national television station "TF1".

"France's strategy is simple: to help Ukraine resist; to organize a counter-offensive when it wants to be able to bring everyone back to the negotiating table and under the conditions that Kiev will choose; to build a lasting peace for it", said President Macron in course of the interview.

However, France will not supply aircraft to Ukraine: It is "a theoretical debate" at this stage, added the French President. "I spoke of missiles and training" of pilots. We have "opened the doors to train" Ukrainian pilots "now", thanks also to the collaboration of "several other European countries that are ready" to commit themselves on this front.
