The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, published a message on "Telegram" in which he announces that investigations have already started to reconstruct the causes and dynamics of the helicopter crash that led to the death of the top leaders of the ministry of Interior. The 3 men were aboard an aircraft that crashed on a kindergarten in the city of Brovary, on their way to one of the hotspots where fighting against the Russians is underway.
"Today a terrible tragedy occurred in Brovary, in the Kiev region. A helicopter of the SES (State Emergency Service, Ed) crashed and a fire broke out at the scene of the accident. Among the victims are the Ukrainian Interior Minister, Denys Monastyrskyi, his deputy, Yevhen Yenin, the State secretary of the Interior Ministry, Yuri Lubkovych, their assistants and the helicopter crew". "The Security Service of Ukraine, in cooperation with the national police, was instructed to find out all the circumstances of what happened" explained Zelensky.
Kyiv Oblast Police Chief, Andrii Niebytov, clarified: "It's too early to draw conclusions. Investigators from the Security Service of Ukraine, the National Police and the State Investigation Bureau will do their job. However, we have a Request: Anyone who saw the incident contact the police. We will record your testimony. It is important for an objective and comprehensive investigation", reports "Ukrainska Pravda" information site.
