Italy-based Magnaghi Aeronautica Group, headquartered in Naples, has announced the acquisition of Five Valleys Aerospace, a manufacturer of components and supplier of surface treatments for the aerospace industry. For the Italian company, led by CEO Paolo Graziano, this is a move that opens the door to the British market.

The tricolor company specializes in the design, certification and production of landing systems, composite aerostructure components for helicopters, equipment, medium-sized aerial platforms, hydraulic and electronic systems. With this acquisition, the Group, founded in 1936, expands its global presence, with offices and plant in Brazil and the United States. Prominent partnerships include Airbus Helicopters, Lockheed Martin, and Sikorsky-Boeing.
