Ukrainian conflict: Russian retaliation in Odessa
Explosions in the city after Kiev attack against enemy military cruiser
After the Ukrainian missile attack against the Russian military cruiser "Moskva", which led to its sinking in front of the port of Odessa, now the maritime city overlooking the Black Sea fears a harsh reprisal by the Kremlin army. In fact, a few hours later, roars were heard in the port area that were followed by more explosions.
"We have confirmation that the Russian ship was hit. Now we fear that the enemy is preparing a retaliation on the city. There is a high probability of missile attacks in our city and region. Ukrainian anti-aircraft is intercepting the attacks", said Odessa City Hall spokesman Sergei Bratchuk. Meanwhile, trenches continue to be dug in the city, while air-raid sirens sound and people take refuge in bunkers.
