Government extends economic aid to air carriers by allowing cutting of routes

The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has extended to the 2022 summer season the temporary exemption on the minimum requirements to be able to operate international flights at US airports. Under normal circumstances, in fact, airlines would have to use their take-off and landing windows at least 80%, under penalty of slots reassignment, but due to the pandemic these rules have been relaxed.
