US HELICOPTERS CAN'T TAKE OFF BECAUSE OF LACK OF SPARE PARTS

WASHINGTON, According to Pentagon nearly 60 percent of the Army National Guard's helicopters are grounded because they lack spare parts. Pentagon said the Army National Guard has a fleet of 1,885 helicopters. 1116 of them, or 59 percent, can't take off. The problem is mostly affecting the UH-1H Huey transport helicopters and the AH-1 Cobra attack helicopters.
