SPANAIR PLANE COLLAPSES AT LANDING
LIVERPOOL, A Spanair plane en route from from Palma on the Spanish holiday island of Mallorca, collapsed as it landed at Liverpool's Speke airport. The undercarriage failed on landing. None of the 51 people aboard was seriously injured. "The plane wobbled on one wing", an eyewitness said. All flights to and from Liverpool were cancelled after the incident.
