Airplanes and carriers. Code-share ITA Airways–Klm

ITA Airways and KLM have signed a new code-share agreement. This will enable passengers to book ITA Airways tickets to KLM's European destinations and KLM customers will be able to book tickets to ITA Airways’s Domestic Italy and Southern Europe destinations. Both carriers will facilitate easy transfers for passengers to connecting flights at the airports Rome-Fiumicino. The agreement into effect on December 1st and gave ITA Airways customers access to more destinations in Northern Europe. 

The partnership will allow ITA Airways customers to book tickets to Northern Europe (United Kingdom, Finland, Sweden, Denmark) and KLM passengers will be able to fly with ITA Airways via Rome to Palermo, Reggio Calabria, Bari, Brindisi, Lamezia Terme and Trieste in Italy, to Malta, and to the Albanian city of Tirana. 

Thanks to this agreement, both airlines' customers can fly seamlessly to their chosen destinations with a single ‘unique’ ticket, checking-in at the airport of departure, and collecting their checked-through baggage at the end of their trip in the arrival airport. 

The code-share flights are now available for sale through the airlines’ respective websites ( and, reservation systems and in travel agencies.
