BOEING PLANE AND HELICOPTER NEAR TO COLLIDE IN SCOTLAND
ABERDEEN, SCOTLAND, A British Airways Boeing 737 carrying more than 100 people had to abort takeoff from Aberdeen airport after finding a Super Puma helicopter in its path. Tyhe plane was forced to brake sharply coming withing 100 m of the hovering helicopter. The Boeing 737 took off for Gatwick airport 50 minutes later after allowing the brakes to cool down.
