The aerostat event will be held until October 10th

The "Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta", a fair for lovers of hot air balloons, is being held these days in the United States. The event, now in its 49th edition after its debut in 1972, was cancelled last year due to the pandemic. According to the organizers, 548 balloons were registered, including 84 specially shaped aerostat. The pilots come from Brazil, Canada, the Netherlands, Switzerland, France and Mexico. The event will end October 10th.

At the event there was also the performance of seven aircraft of Chile Flight aviators, who performed an air salute over Albuquerque, while the national anthem played over the loudspeakers. Soon after, hundreds of hot air balloons rose to the sky.
