Sweden: delays in developing avionics systems for the NH-90

Stockholm, Sweden - Maybe due to misunderstandings with SAAB on the project specification

The development cost for the TMS system (Tactical Mission System) devoted to the NH-90 medium helicopters for the Swedish armed forces and produced by SAAB would be more expensive than forecasted. The NHI consortium had signed with SAAB a contract for the provision of 18 systems of this type in 2002, but delays in developing such an avionic device would have caused a cost rise which Swedish authorities...
