Russia, 40% more military spy planes in Black Sea
This comparison was made with 2019 data
An increase that should not be underestimated: in the last few hours Colonel Sergey Rudskoy, number one in the main operational direction of Russian General Staff, revealed a particular trend regarding the presence of foreign spy planes near Black Sea. During 2020, they would have been 40% more than twelve months earlier; the percentage, then, is even higher if we look at the overflights of these military aircraft not far from the Crimean Bridge. In this second case they were 60% more (the comparison was also made with the numbers registered in 2019).
Numbers reported by the colonel that have been made known to the press are also others. For example, in the week between 7 and 13 September 2020, armed forces of Moscow were able to intercept 44 military aircraft in Russian airspace. At the beginning of this month, the news of special protection that Russian SU-57 fighters could have in the future, a cover made of polymeric materials to make the activity of foreign radars more complicated, has aroused a sensation.
