New Chinese disease: "low" danger in the EU?
Three airports connected directly to the affected city
A mysterious disease has affected the city of Wuhan in China, and the concern that the virus reaches Europe as three airports are directly connected with the metropolis and there are also indirect connections with other European hubs. The European Center for Disease Control (ECDC) would have classified the danger as "low": there would be no evidence of the human-to-human transmission of the crown-virus related to the Sars and Mers pathologies, furthermore, no cases occurred among operators health professionals who came into contact with patients. However, the possibility cannot be excluded. The infections that occurred outside China, the ECDC points out, were found in a Japanese man who had just returned from Wuhan and in a woman from the same city who left for a trip to Thailand. Currently 43 cases of the virus have been confirmed by the World Health Organization (WHO), including a death.
