CATHAY PACIFIC TO LAUNCH NEW SERVICE HONG KONG-NEW YORK

HONG KONG, Cathay Pacific yesterday said it will begin a new route from Hong Kong to New York, via Vancouver, on September 1. The new service will be operated with an Airbus A340-300 aircraft which can carry 193 passengers. Continental Airlines and United Airlines already operate flights between Hong Kong and New York.
