According to "Corriere.it", which cited Sita, one of the companies operating in the air transport sector, in 2018, around the world, 4.3 billion baggages sent in the hold were handled and of these 24.81 millions are gone lost or arrived late at destination. It would seem that in Europe one third of these personal effects have been reported by the traveller as lost or handed over to the owner late....
