Israel: neutralized Syrian missile attack
This morning the Israeli defense system "Iron Dome" neutralized a missile attack from Syria to the Golan Heights. Fortunately there would have been no victims but the local inhabitants hid in the shelters.
The military radio of the Tel-Aviv Army described the launch of rockets as "very serious" and is likely to be an Israeli counter-response. While the area is returning to normal, the hypothesis appears that the incident should be included in the attempts attributed by Israel to Iran to undermine its border to the north, even through Shiite soldiers operating on the spot.
Yesterday the US changed its policy towards Israeli settlements in the West Bank, which it will no longer consider to be contrary to international law. "We have increased the chances for peace", said Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and this stance, according to their point of view, could be an opportunity for Israel and Palestine to "get together and find a solution to this nagging problem".
