Military exercises in Russia
More than 500 soldiers involved in the Urals
Today a military exercise in Russia near Samara, in the Volga area, involved more than 500 soldiers who simulated the destruction of satellite communication stations, eliminated the sentinels using silent sniper rifles, advanced and shot with the Msta artillery, stormed the command post of the fictitious enemy, seized secret documents.
The Tigr-M SpN armored vehicles equipped with Plamya AGS-17 grenade launchers and "Pecheneg" machine guns provided coverage for the reconnaissance squad retreat.
Russia proves once again that it is a country at the forefront of the defense sector: in December the joint military operation between Russia and India called "Indra-2019" is scheduled. Moscow will employ more than 40 aircraft including: 5 fighter planes, about 20 military transport airplanes and more than five helicopters to support ground troops and naval forces (see AVIONEWS).
