Alitalia: Daniele Discepolo new extraordinary commissioner
The Mise named him and so that the triad is re-composed
The Italian Minister of Economic Development (Mise), Luigi Di Maio, appointed the lawyer Daniele Discepolo as extraordinary commissioner of Alitalia to replace the resigning Luigi Gubitosi.
As already happened in May 2017 at the opening of the extraordinary administration of the carrier, when it was decided to derogate from the procedural rules then in force for the appointment of extraordinary commissioners, it was also decided on this occasion to hasten the times as much as possible, in order to proceed quickly with the replacement of the resigning commissioner Gubitosi and in light of the delicate phase of the procedure for the sale of the company's business complexes.
Daniele Discepolo is a professional with extensive experience in the field of bankruptcy proceedings and corporate reorganization, according to a note issued by the Mise. The triad with his position is re-composed with Stefano Paleari and Enrico Laghi.
