Tramp ship foundered in Sicily: MMI helicopter is seeking for missing passengers

Palermo, Italy - At the moment two corpses have been found

A boat, likely coming from Lybia with at least 27 clandestines aboard, has foundered in the Sicily Channel about 150 miles South of Lampedusa. The alarm would launched by some fishers: 11 persons have been already saved while the coffins of two extra-communitarian have been found. A naval unit of Italian Navy (MMI), the OPV patroller "Vega", with the chopper of its equipment, are checking the area...
