30.000 PASSENGERS STRANDED FOR LUFTHANSA'S PILOTS STRIKE

FRANKFURT, About 30.000 passengers were stranded in geman airports, most notably in Franfurt, due to Lufthansa pilots strike, the first of the four planned. The airline deplored the strike and urged passengers to switch to rail services. Other flights were delayed. The strike ended at noon.
