Washington, USA - NASA's programme needs a project capable of carrying man on Mars as well

Bush-led Government and NASA intend to accomplish the first mission with a new spacecraft by 2014. The current Space Shuttles will in fact begin to be retired from service in 2010 and some operational difficulties will occur but they must be solved quickly.
