AIR FRANCE WILL BUY NEW 747-400 FREIGHTERS

PARIS, Air France Cargo is planning to buy two new long range Boeing 747-400LR freighters. The planes will be delivered in autumn 2002. One cargo plane is to be acquired by Boeing, the other will be leased from ILFC. The carrier currently operates 11 B747-200 freighters.
